Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field of study (Marketing, Science, etc.)
Preferably 5+ years of marketing / sales experience in the diagnostics and / or pharmaceutical industry
Has previous experience in product positioning and branding, demonstrated experience of translating science into marketing messages or experience with product development projects
Brings excellent leadership & communication skills, is able to lead and influence cross-functional teams within a complex global matrix environment
Possesses strategic thinking & strong problem solving; proactively co-creating solutions with other stakeholders
Has country product management experience, mainly in product positioning and branding
Has budget management experience and decision making (incl. profitability)
Regular work in the office is required and travel up to 30% of the time (national and international) may be required
Responsibilities
The International Product Manager (IPM) is responsible for driving the global brand strategy for the assigned diagnostics products and / or market segment, or disease area;
and for delivering on its execution
A successful IPM effectively manages the lifecycle of on-market products and works to define and collaborate for the development of new products
This includes creating initial requirements, contributing to product requirements, and managing decisions in a matrix organization to launch the right products at the right time

Acts as a facilitator and integrator across all stakeholders in order to ensure that products are developed and commercially available in scope, time and budget
Plans and contributes to the International Business Team meetings (IBT)
E2E responsibility & accountability of the systematic commercial development of product(s) from development, launch preparation, launch execution, on-market support and obsolescence
Contributes to on-market product support complaints / quality issues) and provides guidance to the affiliates
Gathers, refines, analyses and prioritizes product requirements from existing and potential customers across all markets and identifies portfolio gaps
Is accountable for the identification of new market opportunities based on market, customer and competitive data analysis
Leads, manages and monitors product-specific competitor activities and development of actions to address them
Supervises the implementation of the global marketing strategy through M&CI organization and the affiliates
Builds strong product requirements for upgrades / updates to existing product lines or evolutionary new products
Effectively manages on-market products and contributes to requirements for early state products
Contributes to and updates the relevant chapters of Design Control (DCC), incl. Product Requirements Document (PRD)
